Thanks to a couple posts over on the Rowdyville Forums, we learned about two new recruits who had been offered by UTSA. “RunnersUp” pointed us towards cornerback Kevin Vaccaro from Brownwood HS. There have been multiple reports that Kevin has an offer from UTSA, including a post on SpursTalk and a tweet from @GhostofBigRoy, the Recruiting Analyst for Burnt Orange Nation. Kevin is rated as a 3-star recruit by multiple recruiting services and currently holds offers from UTSA, La Tech, Nevada and Wake Forest.
The other recruit with an offer was found by “cokermania”, who you may know as Jared from CokerChronicles.com. Offensive lineman Conner Grooms from Tyler Lee HS received an offer from UTSA recently, according to a tweet from @ChrisLevel of RedRaiderSports.com. In addition to UTSA, Conner also has offers from La Tech, Houston, Kansas, Memphis and Minnesota. He has also been rated as a 3-star recruit by multiple services and is ranked as the 18th best center in the nation by Rivals.
We also learned about two junior college recruits who were recently offered by the UTSA coaching staff, including defensive end Justin Rayside of Riverside C.C. in California. He also holds offers from Eastern Michigan, Sacramento State, Indiana and New Mexico State. The 2-star recruit recently took a visit to Indiana and plans to take a visit to New Mexico State next weekend, according to Rivals.
According to UTSATailgaters, linebacker Brandon Guerrero from Fullerton J.C. in California also received an offer from UTSA recently. We introduced you to Brandon, along with two of his Fullerton teammates, in our recruiting post last week.

Another junior college recruit, offensive tackle Chris Grisbhy from Blinn College has a visit planned to UTSA next weekend, and it seems likely that the 3-star recruit could pick up an offer during the trip.
To conclude our junior college roundup, we noticed that safety Cody Berry from Pierce College (California) has the UTSA Roadrunners listed as his favorite team on his Facebook page. Take that for what it’s worth, but it could be a sign that he’s picking UTSA over his other offers from FIU and UMass.
