UTSA picked up their 20th commitment today from De Anza College defensive end Dan Winter. The 6’4″, 245-pound lineman played in each of his two seasons at De Anza, so he will come to UTSA as a true junior, with three years of eligibility to play two.
Winter led the De Anza Dons with 17 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks last year, along with recording 46 total tackles and a forced fumble. You can see some of Winter’s highlights on his Hudl profile.
Check out the updated 2012 recruiting board for more info on all of the UTSA commitments and recruits as we approach National Signing Day on February 1st.
