According to IRS, an offer has gone out to Temple High School quarterback Zach Allen. The 6’3″, 185-pound prospect also has offers from Texas State, Syracuse and Eastern Illinois.
As a junior, Allen led the Temple Wildcats to a 5-2 record in district, bouncing back from a disappointing 1-7 season as a sophomore. You can see some of his junior highlights on his Hudl profile.
Earlier today, Brent Thibodeaux from BobcatReport.com tweeted that UTSA has also offered quarterback Austin Robinson from Episcopal High School in Bellaire. UTSA is the first to offer the 6’4″, 210-pound recruit.
In an interview with YourBellaireNews.com, Robinson explained what he enjoyed about playing quarterback. “I like how it’s a challenge. Everybody’s depending on me. I feel like I’m the right leader for the quarterback position.”
