Roadrunners in the NFL – Week 7

DAVID MORGAN II

TE – Minnesota Vikings – UTSA ’11-’15

Coming off the Vikings’ bye week, David Morgan II returned from a knee injury in Minnesota’s 21-10 loss to Philadelphia, the team’s first loss of the year.

Unfortunately for Morgan, fellow blocking tight end Rhett Ellison also returned from injury this week and ate up all of the two-TE offensive snaps. Morgan finished the game with just five snaps, all on special teams.

CB/ST – Carolina Panthers – UTSA (Track) ’06-’10

The Panthers were on their bye in Week 7 and there are reports that a few cornerbacks may be returning from injury soon, including second-round draft pick James Bradberry, which could eat into Williams’ newfound playing time.
