How to watch 2019 UTSA football

Update (9/4): The UTSA-Baylor matchup will be aired on FSSW+ throughout the region. Check local listings if you live outside of Texas. Also, Sling recently removed Fox Sports Regional networks from their lineup, so we have removed it as an OTT option for this matchup.

Update (8/30): The UTSA-UIW matchup has been selected to be aired on ESPN College Extra, in addition to being streamed on ESPN3. ESPN College Extra is currently available on DirecTV, Spectrum, AT&T U-Verse, and Verizon FiOS. Be on the lookout for future ESPN3 games to be potentially picked up as well.

Update (8/26): It appears that Youtube TV has joined AT&T TV Now by dropping ESPN3 from its lineup. As far as we can tell, Sling Orange, Hulu Live, and Playstation Vue all still include ESPN3.

With less than one week to go until kickoff against UIW, let’s take a look at our TV and streaming options for each game of the 2019 season. Not much has changed since our 2018 edition, so I’ll skip the commentary and get right into it.

Important Notes

  • ESPN+ is NOT included with your cable/satellite subscription, and ESPN+ does NOT include other ESPN content (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ESPN3, etc). It is a completely standalone subscription.
  • Your internet provider may include ESPN3 at no additional cost, so try logging in with your internet provider before paying for an OTT service.
  • Streaming service AT&T TV Now (formerly DirecTV Now) no longer includes ESPN3.
  • Many OTT services offer a free trial period (typically 5 or 7 days).
  • Sling Orange or Blue are available for a discounted $15 for the first month (regularly $25) or you can bundle the two for $25 for the first month (regularly $40).
