It was officially announced last Monday that Charlie Reeve has been hired as the new tight ends coach for the Roadrunner football team.
The Roadrunners kicked off spring practice on Tuesday, with the first of 14 practices before the Spring Game on April 15. With the start of spring practice, the official roster was released last week, with all but 17 players returning from the 2011 team.
In their first scrimmage of the season on Saturday morning, the defense held the offense to a single field goal on nine drives, led by newcomer Brian King who had a team-high seven tackles. Sophomore receiver Mike Wilburn was the lone standout on offense, catching seven passes for 100 yards.
